Rodent Control

Once a rodent has gained access to your home through the foundation they will gain access to your plumbing between the walls. Using these pipes they will have full access to your home or apartment. From there they will use unsealed piping around your kitchen and bathroom fixtures to emerge looking for food. Any food left in pantries, or on counters runs the risk of being eaten or contaminated. Prompt treatment to eliminate them is imperative. If you suspect rats or mice are in your home or business, Preferred Pest Control can help. We have 50 years of experience getting rid of rodents and performing highly effective exclusion work.

Our Rodent Control Treatment

Inspection
Determining how rodents are getting inside is an essential first step in eliminating mice & rats from your home or business. Our rodent control experts will inspect your structure to identify entry points. During the inspection they will also identify the specific species causing the issue, where they are nesting & what factors are attracting them to your property.

Treatment

Once our inspection is complete, we’ll begin treatment. Whether you have a rat or mouse problem, we have several treatment options at our disposal. Each home & business is unique and our treatment plan is customized to get the best results at your location. We use a combination of baits and traps in strategically placed areas to rid the rodents as quickly as possible.

Guarantee

When you choose rodent control from Preferred Pest Control, our rodent program includes 3 visits, approximately a week apart, to dramatically reduce the population and monitor rodent activity. We will return to your home or business twice within 21 days of the initial treatment to check and refill bait stations and inspect our exclusion work to make sure it’s doing its job. We also offer special pricing on future return visits that allows you to extend your rodent protection at an affordable price.

Exclusion Service Available

One of the most critical parts of rodent control is ensuring that mice and rats can no longer get into your home or business. It’s imperative that all potential entry points are closed up, making it as difficult as possible for mice and rats to get inside. We will offer to seal up minor areas of concern for a small fee, or we can point out the areas in need of attention if you prefer to make the repairs yourself. Rodents are excellent chewers, so if you choose for us to seal up entry points, rest assured that we use products that are hard for them to gnaw through.
